By the second week, it was getting much easier to identify the hamsters. There were 3 plain dark ones, 2 patterned ones and 2 pale colours ones.

By the end of the week, the babies had started to wander out of the bed area. It was fascinating watching Ginger bring them back again. She also sorted the bedding out one day and remade the bed area quiet instinctively. We had avoided disturbing the babies in case it upset things.
